BADM 275 - Analytical Tools for Business Decisions (Lec. 3, Cr. 3)


Statistical methodologies and applied analytical methods for analysis of common business decision problems. Topics include descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, probability applications for business, decision-making under risk and uncertainty, quantitative modeling, business forecasting, simple and multiple regression analyses, and linear programming. MS EXCEL and other software tools used for data analysis.

Prerequisites: MATH 130 (C or higher) and (MATH 231 or STAT 231).

  • Prerequisite Exceptions:
    • General Business Administration-Business Education Grades 6-12 Concentration: (MATH 113, MATH 170, or minimum ACT Mathematics score of 25) and (MATH 231 or STAT 231).
    • General Business Administration-Construction Management Concentration: MATH 231 or STAT 231.
