2See University Core requirements; at least 3 hours must meet international education requirement; all majors must take PHIL 252 as one of the humanities electives (preferably taken in Sophomore year).
3Three hours must be from STAT 433, 434, or 435. The remaining three may come from any advanced statistics, physics, mathematics, or science course with permission of advisor or department head.
4For Chemistry and Geology concentrations at least 3 hours must be from CHEM 424, 425, 426, 427, 428, 432, 471, 481. Chemistry electives should conform to the recommendations of the ACS Committee of Professional Training and include advanced laboratory work.
5Premedicine concentration should include BIOL 211, 250, 305, 315, 407.
6Geology Concentration, 10 hours of geology courses may be used to satisfy some of these electives.
