BADM 275 - Analytical Tools for Business Decisions


Description
Statistical methodologies and applied analytical methods for analysis of common business decision problems. Topics include descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, probability applications for business, decision-making under risk and uncertainty, quantitative modeling, business forecasting, simple and multiple regression analyses, and linear programming. MS EXCEL and other software tools used for data analysis.

Prerequisite(s): (MATH 130 [with a grade of C or better] or MATH 175 [with a grade of C or better]) and (MATH 231 or STAT 231).

Prerequisite(s) Exceptions:

  • General Business Administration-Business Education Grades 6-12 Concentration: (MATH 113 or MATH 170) and (MATH 231 or STAT 231).
  • General Business Administration-Construction Management Concentration: MATH 231 or STAT 231.
