ENGR 463 - Introduction to Industrial Robotics


Description
Introduction to the field of industrial robotics. Lectures will cover a brief history of robotics, terminology, and concepts of the field. The following topics will be covered in detail: DC motors, sensors, use of gears, pneumatics, and programming subroutines. Students will work with both the VEX Robotics platform and the LJ Create Robotics Trainer to provide experience with the concepts covered in the lecture.
