ENGR 464 - Advanced Industrial Robotics


Description
Trains students to run and program a Kuka industrial robot. Lectures cover design concepts behind the use of these robotics, as well as how to program the robot for manufacturing routines used in industry. Students will design and build a modile cart to interface with the robot using the raspbery pi as controller and gobilda robotics components. Topics include: DC motors, sensors, use of gears, and programming of vision algorithms and autonomous control. The course allows students to earn the Robot Programming 1 certificate from Kuka.
