    Designed for the student whose enhanced ACT score in English is 17 (15) or less. Concentrated and intensive study of the basics of grammar and composition. Students completing the course will be assigned a grade of “S” (Satisfactory) or “U” (Unsatisfactory). Students placed in ENGL 090 must pass it before entering ENGL 101. ENGL 090 is not acceptable for credit toward graduation and is not applicable in determining academic probation or suspension.
