CJUS 501 - Terrorism, Crime, and Security (Lec. 3, Cr. 3) Historic development of terrorism and related crime on a global basis. Trends, techniques, and deficiencies of solutions of the current terrorist problem. Implications of terrorism for the free world. Lectures and discussions will be supplemented by directed reading, independent research, and research papers.
Notes No duplicate credit for CJUS 401, SOCL 401, and SOCL 501.
Prerequisite: 6 hours of sociology, government, criminal justice, or permission of department head.
