GEOL 331 - Ground Water

Behavior of water in rocks and regoliths. Discharge of water (Darcy’s Law; specific drainage; hydraulic gradient). Types of subsurface water. Ground water profile flow of ground water (flow net; equipotential surface). Pollution problems and solutions.

Prerequisite: GEOL 101 or permission of instructor.
