ENGR 423 - Theory and Applications of Numerical Modeling and Simulation Description Basic construction of approximate solutions using finite-element and finite-difference methods, applications of FEM and FDM to strain/stress analysis, buckling, vibration analysis, fatigue, single and multi-phase fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, heat transfer, thermal dynamics, and chemical reactions.
