COUN 664 - Advanced Counseling Process, Skills, and Techniques Description Training in counseling concepts, attending and listening skills. Supervised competency-based counseling experience through role-playing and with actual clients. Students record a video of a counseling session, which is evaluated by the professional counseling faculty. Students who fail to achieve an acceptable rating on the video will receive a grade of no credit earned (NCE).
Note(s) For clinical mental health counseling and school counseling majors only. No duplicate credit for COUN 664 and PSYC 665.
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s) Prerequisite(s): COUN 604 and COUN 632.
