Total Hours Required for Degree:  120

Students majoring in Psychology must select a minor or fulfill the minor requirement by completing 15 credit hours in one academic discipline.  The required hours for the minor vary according to the department offering the minor.

Sophomore Spring - 15 hours


  • ANTH/CJUS/SOCL Elective - 3 hours
  • Minor Elective - 3 hours
  • PHIL Elective - 3 hours

Junior Spring - 15 hours


Senior Spring - 12 hours


  • Elective (300/400 Level) - 3 hours
  • PSYC Elective (300/400 Level) - 3 hours

Note:


Students must earn a grade of ‘C’ or better in all PSYC courses.

General Notes


  • All Baccalaureate degrees must include 40 hours at the 300/400 level.
  • All Baccalaureate degrees require at least one course from the life sciences and one course from the physical sciences categories in Area C of the General Education Core Curriculum.
  • All Baccalaureate degrees must include 12 hours of Writing Enriched courses in the General Education Core Curriculum and 6 hours in the major.
  • All Associate degrees must include 6 hours of Writing Enriched courses in the General Education Core Curriculum and 3 hours in the major.
