Prerequisites
In addition to the general requirements for admission to Graduate School, applicants for admission to the Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with concentrations in Early Childhood Education1, Elementary Education2, and Secondary Education3 must meet the following requirements:
- Certification in any area. Copy of valid teaching certificate must be on file in the Department of Teacher Education.
- Minimum GRE score of 800 (Verbal + Quantitative).

Total Hours: 18 Immersion Education Concentration
Reading Concentration

- EDUC Electives and/or Content Courses selected with permission of the advisor and department head in the content area
Note
*Eighteen (18) graduate hours in the content specific area is required by SACS to teach at the post-secondary level. Total Hours for Degree: 36
