WMGT 451 - Rangeland Ecology and Habitat Management (Lec. 3, Lab. 3, Cr. 4)

Description
Rangeland communities and the effects of livestock and wildlife on vegetation. Plant succession and climax in relation to grazing and ecological condition. Principles and practices of range and wildlife habitat management, including range improvement through mechanical, chemical, and prescribed burning methods.

No duplicate credit for WMGT 451 and WMGT 551.

Prerequisite(s): Senior standing or permission of department head.
