An introduction to topics in contemporary mathematics. Topics may include problem solving, sets, logic, finance, geometry, and probability and statistics, as well as real life applications.

Prerequisites / Corequisites
Prerequisite(s): Minimum ACT Mathematics score of 19; minimum ACT Mathematics score of 18 with a corequisite of MATH 104; minimum ACCUPLACER Elementary Algebra score of 65; minimum ACCUPLACER Next-Generation Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QAS) score of 263; minimum SAT Mathematics score of 460 (prior to 2016); minimum SAT Math Section score of 500; or minimum SAT Math Test score of 25.
