EDUC 326 - Social Studies in the Elementary Classroom

Description
Teaching social studies in the elementary classroom. National Council for the Social Studies standards will be presented with an emphasis on teaching across the curriculum with literature-based thematic units addressing the six components of social studies: anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science/civics, and sociology. Various techniques reflecting multicultural, technological, and geographical connections will be explored. ​
