ENGR 281 - Research in the Near-Space Environment


Description
Basic aerospace engineering and atmospheric science. Hands-on trainings on basic ballooning technology including electronics, soldering, calibration, sensor interfacing, microcontroller programming, mechanical development, thermal analysis, system design and testing, project management, and documentation. Design, construct, test, and launch a small balloon payload that will be carried to the near-space environment by a helium-filled latex sounding balloon.
