ENGL 309 - Ecofeminism and Literature

Description
Ecofeminism studies the ways Western, patriarchal thinkers use language to shape the natural world in ways linked to their attitudes and expectations of women, people of color, and members of other marginalized groups. This course studies definitions of ecofeminism and its aims while surveying ecofeminist voices and visions as expressed in literature.
