DTSC 584 - Big Data

Description
Methods for working with big data from various fields that include collecting, processing, cleaning, and analyzing data via graphing, statistical analysis, and categorization techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience using high-level programming languages such as Python and R.

Note(s)
No duplicate credit for DTSC 584 and DTSC 454, STAT 454, or STAT 584.

Prerequisite(s): [CSCI 180 and (DTSC 333 or STAT 333)] or permission of department head.
