Students pursuing a BS in Accounting and a BS in another College of Business degree will substitute the ACCT 311 in place of ACCT 241 in their degree.

1Three (3) hours must be selected from the approved Writing Enriched courses- see General Education Requirements  section.
2Course must be selected from section #9 of the General Education Requirements  section.

Professional Accountancy and Exam Preparation Concentration


A Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Professional Accountancy and Exam Preparation requires the following changes in the Accounting curriculum listed above:

DELETE the following from the Senior Year:

  • Accounting Electives- 6 hours
  • 300-400 Approved Business Electives- 3 hours

Taxation Concentration


A Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation requires the following changes in the Accounting curriculum listed above:

  • Approved Accounting Electives-6 hours
  • 300-400 Approved Business Elective- 3 hours
