Educational Technology Leadership, PMC

Program Admission

In addition to the general requirements for admission to the William J. Doré, Sr. School of Graduate Studies, applicants for admission to the Educational Technology Leadership, PMC program must:

• Provide evidence of a valid teaching certificate; and
• Possess a master’s degree from an institution accredited by a USDOE-approved institutional accreditor.

Term 1: Fall - 6 hours

Note: EDTC 602 requires 25 field experience hours, and EDTC 614 requires 15 field experience hours.

• EDTC 614 - Survey of Educational Telecommunications, Networks, and the Internet Cr: 3

Term 2: Spring - 3 hours

Note: EDTC 617 requires 15 field experience hours.

• EDTC 617 - Educational Technology Research and Assessment: Instructional Media Design Cr: 3

Term 3: Summer - 6 hours

Note: EDTC 621 requires 15 field experience hours, and EDTC 625 requires 30 field experience hours.

• EDTC 621 - Advanced Telecommunications and Distance Learning Cr: 3
• EDTC 625 - Technology Planning and Administration Cr: 3

Term 4: Fall - 3 hours

Note: EDTC 629 requires 30 field experience hours.

• EDTC 629 - Professional Development for K-12 Technology Integration Cr: 3

Term 5: Spring - 3 hours

Note: EDTC 637 requires 30 field experience hours.

• EDTC 637 - Technology Leadership in Schools Cr: 3

Notes

• No grades below C and not more than 3 credit hours of C work can be applied toward the certificate.
