WMGT 551 - Rangeland Ecology and Habitat Management (Lec. 3, Lab. 3, Cr. 4)


Study of rangeland communities and the effects of livestock and wildlife on vegetation and plant succession and climax in rlation to grazing and ecological condition. Priciples and practices of range and wildlife habitat management, including range improvement through mechanical, chemical and prescribed burning methods. A research project and presentation are also required.
