HSM 315 - Fundamentals of Healthcare Quality Improvement


Description
Focuses on quality management as a core healthcare function. Emphasis is placed on implementation of viable quality improvement programs in various healthcare organizations. Students will explore healthcare quality concepts and efforts; discuss the impacts of social, governmental, regulatory, and professional pressures on quality of healthcare services; and understand the importance of creating a culture of service excellence, safety, high reliability, and value in healthcare organizations.
