Description
Fundamental algebraic operations, linear and quadratic equations and inequalities with applications, radical and rational equations, functions (exponential and logarithmic), graphing, zeros of polynomials, systems of equations and inequalities.

Note(s)
This course is NOT designed to be a direct prerequisite course for the Calculus sequence. Students must complete MATH 177 or have a minimum ALEKS PPL score of 76 to register for MATH 190 (Calculus I). Credits for this course may not be applied to a mathematical sciences degree.

Prerequisite(s): Minimum ACT Mathematics score of 21; ACT Mathematics score less than 21 with a corequisite of MATH 110; minimum ACCUPLACER Next-Generation Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QAS) score of 268; ACCUPLACER Next-Generation QAS score less than 268 with a corequisite of MATH 110; minimum ALEKS Placement, Preparation and Learning (PPL) score of 41; ALEKS PPL score less than 41 with a corequisite of MATH 110; minimum SAT Math Section score of 530; SAT Math Section score less than 530 with a corequisite of MATH 110; or MATH 105.
