Business Administration


Total Hours Required for Certificate:  15

A Graduate Certificate in Business Administration is offered to meet the needs of those students who are already holding non-business undergraduate degrees (engineering, sciences, liberal arts, nursing, etc.), and aspiring to advance their careers by acquiring basic skills and knowledge in accounting, finance, economics, management, and marketing.

This program requires the completion of 15 credit hours (5 foundation courses), and students enrolled in the program can earn the certificate in two regular semesters. No GMAT or GRE test is required for admission. A bachelor’s degree in a non-business discipline with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 is required.

Admission is open to both domestic and international students. Domestic students can enroll in up to three courses per semester, while international students are required to enroll in three courses each semester. No grade below ‘C’ and not more than 3 credit hours of ‘C’ work can be applied toward the certificate.

  • Credits applied must be earned within 6 calendar years from the time the student first enrolled in the program.
  • No grade below ‘C’ and not more than 6 credit hours of ‘C’ work can be applied toward the degree.
  • No more than 6 credit hours of transfer work may be applied toward the degree.
  • Only transfer credits with a grade of ‘B’ or better may be applied toward the degree.
