Diversity and Inclusion, UC

Program Admission

In order to be formally admitted into the Diversity and Inclusion, UC program, students must:

• Be pursuing a baccalaureate degree at McNeese;
• Have earned at least 30 credit hours (sophomore standing);
• Complete all prerequisite coursework for the courses listed below (may be taken prior to earning 30 credit hours); and
• Submit a curriculum change request, approved by the head of the Department of Social Sciences, to Student Central.

• HIST 320 - American Women’s History Cr: 3
• HIST 330 - African-American History Cr: 3
• HIST 454 - The Modern Civil Rights Movement, 1941-1968 Cr: 3
• MGMT 343 - Managing the Diverse Workplace Cr: 3
• SOCL 413 - Social Stratification Cr: 3

Note

Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses applied to the certificate.
