HHP 454 - Introduction of Physical Education for Disabled Children (Lec. 3, Cr. 3)

Teacher candidates will examine developmentally appropriate activities, theories, methodologies, and behavior management strategies specific to Adapted Physical Education (APE). Emphasis placed on physical activity in the least restrictive environment for individuals with disabilities. Twenty hours of field experience in an approved adapted physical education setting.  

Notes
No duplicate credit for HHP 454 and HHP 554, HPED 454, or HPED 554.

Prerequisite(s): EDUC 200 or EDUC 499.
