HHP 481 - Practicum for Second Area Certification

Practical experience in teaching under supervision. A minimum of six hours per week for one semester must be spent in professional experiences in the area which the student wishes to certify. The professional experiences shall include a minimum of sixty hours of actual teaching.

Notes
No duplicate credit for HHP. 481 and EDUC 481H. No duplicate credit for HHP and HPED or H&HP courses of the same number.

Prerequisites: The student must be a certified teacher in another area and must have completed all requirements for the additional area of certification with the possible exception of nine semester hours which may be completed in a summer session.
