RADS 230 - Imaging Production and Equipment

Description
Electromagnetic spectrum, characteristics of radiation, x-ray production, and fundamentals of photon interactions with matter. Imaging equipment including the x-ray tube, radiographic grids, fluoroscopic equipment, and introduction to computed tomography equipment.

Note(s)
For radiologic sciences majors only. No duplicate credit for RADS 230 and RADT 230.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to professional phase of radiologic sciences program.
