EDUC 688 - Methods for Teaching the Academically Gifted

Description
Curriculum processes necessary for providing differentiated education for the talented. Candidates will gain knowledge in assessment and using data to inform grouping, curriculum, enrichment, and to show student growth. Candidates will analyze current models and strategies for use in their classroom and develop instructional materials for differentiating instruction with respect to gifted students’ readiness, knowledge, and skill level. Candidates should have access to gifted students.
