EDUC 689 - Creative Thinking and Problem Solving


Description
Explores the many facets of creativity, including classic and current psychological and educational theories of creativity and creativity training. Creativity will be discussed with attention to the creative person, the creative process, and the creative product. Candidates will gain knowledge and experience in creating thinking processes and attitudes toward the enhancement of personal creativity and creativity in the classroom. Candidates will develop and prepare materials and activities to be used in classrooms to stimulate creativity. Options are provided for application to gifted populations.
