ACCT 337 - LNG Law and Taxation


Description
Covers the basic legal rules and regulations that are specific to oil and gas with an emphasis on the rules and regulations that are specific to the LNG business. Explores the taxation of oil and gas, which will include federal taxation of extraction, cost and percentage depletions, the ongoing controversies in GAAP as well as IRC on the deduction of dry hole costs and other taxation issues that are relevant for the LNG business. Includes discussions on the life cycle of oil and gas operations.
