No prerequisites are needed other than a valid teaching certificate.

This program does not accept applicants on a conditional basis.

Term 1: Summer - 6 hours

• LIBS 201 - Library Reference Cr: 3
• LIBS 210 - Technical Services in Libraries Cr: 3

Term 2: Fall - 6 hours

• LIBS 401 - Children’s Literature and Related Material Cr: 3
• LIBS 420 - School Library Administration Cr: 3

Term 3: Spring - 6 hours

• LIBS 411 - Books and Related Material for the Secondary School Cr: 3
• LIBS 421 - Library Practicum Cr: 3

Note

Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses applied to the certificate.
