Effective fall 2013, the College of Business at McNeese State University offers a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration to meet the needs of those students who are already holding non-business undergraduate degrees (engineering, sciences, liberal arts, nursing, etc.), and aspiring to advance their careers within only nine months by acquiring basic skills and knowledge in accounting, finance, economics, management, and marketing.

This program requires the completion of 18 credit hours (6 foundation courses). Students enrolled in this program can earn the Certificate in two regular semesters. No GMAT or GRE test is required for admission. A bachelor’s degree in non-business discipline, with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.0 is required. Admission is open to both domestic and international students.

Students should apply to the Dore’ School of Graduate Studies at McNeese State University.

Upon successful completion of the program, students can transition into the MBA program by meeting the admission requirements.
