Accounting (B.S.)

Note: All Accounting majors will take the following courses during their freshman and sophomore years.

Accounting, B.S. (no concentration)


Accounting majors pursuing a general accounting degree with no concentrations will take the following courses during their junior and senior years.

Senior Year


Total Hours: 29

  • *Approved Accounting Electives - 6
    (Six hours of Accounting electives must be 300-400 level and selected with advisor or department head approval.)
  •  Fine Art Elective2 - 3
    (Three hours must be chosen from approved General Education courses.)
  • Non-business Approved Elective - 2
    (Must be selected with a minimum total of TWO credit hours with advisor or department head approval.)

Accounting, B.S. (Professional Accountancy and Exam Preparation Concentration)


Accounting majors pursuing an accounting degree with this concentration will take the following courses their junior and senior years.

Accounting, B.S. (Taxation Concentration)


Accounting majors pursuing an accounting degree with this concentration will take the following courses during their junior and senior years.

Students pursuing a BS in Accounting and a BS in another College of Business degree will substitute the ACCT 311 in place of ACCT 241 in their degree.
